wonders but in fact a force to be reckoned with. The Album spawed one of the biggest hits of 1993 Hip Hop Hooray The video was directed by Spike
Lee and featured other hip-hop artists popular in the early 1990s, including Queen Latifah, Eazy-E, Run-D.M.C., and Kris Kross. Naughty by Nature
was always appreciated as being one of the only rap groups in history to be able to keep a grimey street sound while at the same time crossing over
to the mainstream crowd.

Landed as a band have been around since 1996 as I recall based in the sleepy berg of Providence in a backwater state called Rhode Island. The first
shows were an amorphous blob of improv-based splatter that had a lot of confusion built into the engine. The band had no problem working a set out
in the days preceding a show, so no two shows were alike musically. Sure there are Landed shows and records of legend, with flaming lead singers,
men auto-fellating themselves, and roosters in cages. The music always held up, and was a sure-fire spectacle. Landed as a band survives to this
day making some sense of all this.

trio led by Ted Milton. Formed in Stroud in 1979, Blurt consisted of Ted Milton (sax, vocals), brother Jake Milton (drums) and guitarist Pete
Creese. Ted had already attracted the attention of Factory founder Tony Wilson as a puppeteer (!), and were invited to join the label. Blurt performed
at several Factory showcase gigs in London between April and August 1980, and recorded one side of the double compilation album A Factory
Quartet (FACT 24).
